VitalPath Bolsters its Executive and Engineering Teams to Support Growth

NEW HOPE, Minn., Oct. 17, 2022 — VitalPath, a manufacturer of custom, highly complex catheter solutions, recently announced several new hires and a promotion to align operations at its four facilities and to augment its technical team to meet growing customer demand.

In the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer, Christine Meidinger will be responsible for overseeing operations at the company’s four facilities. Christine comes to VitalPath with decades of operations experience. Previously, she held VP of Operations positions at Nonin Medical, a global leader in noninvasive medical monitoring solutions; and at Nortech Systems, an electronics manufacturing service provider. Christine has a bachelor’s degree in business administration & management from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.

Gary LaTraille has been promoted to Vice President of Quality Assurance. He brings more than 25 years of broad experience in medical device QA/QC/Regulatory to this new role. Gary joined the VitalPath team in February as Quality Director and has been busy aligning the Quality Management teams at the company’s three manufacturing facilities and working to expand the ISO certification for VitalPath’s new Design Center. He has a bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University.

New Director of Human Resources Lisa Swanson brings more than 20 years of HR experience, including roles at Integer and Medtronic. She has a track record of success partnering with leaders to enable growth and develop individual talent and teams through continuous improvement initiatives. She is also adept at guiding culture shifts and inspiring leaders and individuals to identify their strengths and reach for their goals. Engineering Manager Michael Bonde loves the complicated technical hurdles of the medical device industry and enjoys the opportunities for leadership and helping people every day. Previously, he spent 7+ years at Boston Scientific, most recently as a Senior Process Engineer. He has a master’s degree in strategic leadership from North Central University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman.

Quality Engineer Tim Bohach brings more than 30 years of broad quality experience to VitalPath, focusing on continuous improvement. He has expertise in promoting a culture of quality, continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis problem solving, process development, and change management.

Manufacturing Engineer Michael Dehmer is a recent engineering grad from the University of Minnesota. His experience includes a manufacturing engineering internship at MtronPTI, a Florida-based supplier of RF components and solutions.
